Import existing bookings from a CSV file in Settings > Properties > Import bookings from CSV file. Use it when you move to Beds24 from another system and have bookings that can't be imported directly from a channel.
Quick Guide
- Go to Settings > Properties > Import bookings from CSV file and select your CSV file.
- Map your CSV columns to Beds24 fields and choose a room for each booking.
- Click Preview, then Import and Save.
Import bookings from a CSV file
Important: don't use this method for upcoming bookings from Booking.com, Airbnb or Expedia. Import those directly from the channel instead. See Import channel bookings directly.
Prerequisites: a CSV file with up to 100 bookings. The import is designed for upcoming bookings, but you can import bookings up to one year in the past.
Steps:
- Go to Settings > Properties > Import bookings from CSV file.
- Click Select a CSV file and upload your bookings.
- Map the columns: the table heading shows the column labels from your CSV file. For each value you want to import, choose the matching Beds24 field.
- Choose the room for each booking: each row is one booking. In the first column, select the room the booking goes into. To skip a booking, leave the first column set to ignore. To set rooms for many bookings at once, go to the bottom and click bulk change rooms.
- Click Preview and check which bookings will be imported.
- Click Import and Save.
Expected result: the bookings appear in your calendar and bookings list.
Import channel bookings directly
For Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia, Beds24 can import all upcoming bookings directly from the channel after you connect it. Use this method: for bookings imported directly, Beds24 also imports later changes automatically.
Find the options in Settings > Channel Manager > Airbnb Mapping, Booking.com or Expedia. For instructions, see the channel's help pages.
Troubleshooting
