Booking info codes are short codes you attach to a booking on its Info tab, each with an optional free-text note. Use them in custom reports to show or hide bookings, to trigger Auto Actions, to filter bookings and to show icons on bookings. Beds24 and its integrations set some codes automatically; you can also create your own.

Example: if you set CHECKIN when guests check in and CHECKOUT when they check out, a custom report of bookings with CHECKIN but without CHECKOUT shows only the guests who are currently checked in.
Create your own info codes
Define presets for info codes in Settings > Account > Preferences (Booking Info Code Presets). Ideas for commonly used codes:
- BREAKFAST
- CANCELLED_BY_OWNER
- CANCELLED_BY_OWNER_INVALID_CARD
- CANCELLED_BY_OWNER_NO_PAYMENT
- CANCELLED_BY_OWNER_UNIT_NOT_AVAILABLE
- LOCKSTATE_PIN (if you use the Lockstate lock integration)
Expected result: you can add the code manually from the list of presets in the booking, or automatically with Auto Actions. For ready-made setups, see Auto Action examples.
Bedding info codes
Show bedding information for bookings on the dashboard.
Steps:
- Go to Settings > Account > Preferences and add an info code for each bed type. The codes must start with
BED_, for exampleBED_DOUBLE,BED_TWINandBED_SINGLE. - Add the matching info code on the Info tab of the booking.
- Go to the Dashboard and add the Bedding column to the modules where you need this information.
- If you need a report, generate a Group Arrivals report.
Show info codes as icons
Show an icon on bookings that have a certain info code.
Steps:
- Go to Settings > Account > Preferences and set Booking Show Icons to Show.
- In the same place, create Booking Info Code Values: enter the info code, then
I-followed by the icon name, for exampleTRANSFER I-money-billorCHECKIN I-bell.
All free solid Font Awesome icons are supported; get the icon names there. If you add a text to the info code in the booking, it shows when you hover over the icon.
