Auto Action

An Auto Action has one or more trigger conditions and one or more actions. Triggers can be based on the property, the time or the booking. Auto Actions can:

  • send pre-drafted emails, messages or SMS
  • change booking information
  • change invoice information
  • run webhooks
  • trigger HTTP POST notifications

Chain several Auto Actions to automate whole workflows. See Auto Actions.

Inventory

  • Inventory is calculated from the rooms you've set up in Settings > Properties > Rooms > Setup and the number of bookings.
  • You can change inventory quickly in the Calendar, but never to more than the total number of rooms minus your bookings.
  • Inventory needs a valid price. A date without a Daily Price or Fixed Price shows an inventory of 0.
  • If Overbooking Protection is set to Property in Settings > Properties > Rooms > Setup, Beds24 counts bookings in the room up to the room quantity and bookings in the whole property up to the total number of rooms in the property. The room closes when the bookings across all rooms in the property reach the total number of rooms, which can happen because of an overbooking in a different room. Hidden rooms aren't included in this calculation.
