Beds24 connects to the Vrbo group (formerly Homeaway) in two ways: a certified XML connection that sends prices, availability and content instantly, and a simple iCal connection that only synchronises availability and is less reliable. Use the XML connection if you're eligible.
Connection options
| Connection | What it synchronises | Who can use it |
|---|---|---|
| VRBO Setup (XML) | Listing content, prices, availability, bookings and guest messages | In most regions, agencies with five or more listings. You need a tax number and a credit card. |
| VRBO iCal | Availability and bookings only; prices stay at Vrbo | Anyone who isn't eligible for the XML connection |
XML connection settings
- View content for VRBO: check what Beds24 sends and fix content errors.
- Specific property content for VRBO and Specific room content for VRBO: Vrbo-only values for the property and each listing.
- Payment Schedules: when guests pay and which payment types you accept.
