Agents

Sell your property at different prices through agents with a separate agent booking page. Guests who open your booking page with an agent code see the agent prices, and the booking shows which agent page it came from.

Quick Guide

1. Go to Settings > Booking Engine > Property Booking Page > Behaviour, set Agent Prices to Agent Only and enter your agent code.
2. Create a Daily Price or Fixed Price enabled for Beds24 - agents.
3. Give the agent your booking page URL with &agent=AGENTCODE added.

How agent prices work

You create prices with and without the agent channel enabled. The booking page shows the agent prices only when it's opened with an agent code in the URL. In the booking, the Referrer field shows which agent page the booking was made on, and the Charges and Payments tab shows the name of the agent price that was booked.

Create an agent booking page

Steps:

1. Go to Settings > Booking Engine > Property Booking Page > Behaviour.
2. Under Agent Booking Page, set Agent Prices to Agent Only.
3. Enter your Agent Code. For several agents, separate the codes with a space.
4. Add &agent=AGENTCODE to the URL of your booking page, where AGENTCODE is the code you entered.
5. To see the agent in the booking's referrer, also add &referer=AGENTCODE.

Expected result: the agent URL opens your booking page with the agent prices.

Create agent prices

Daily Prices:

1. Go to Prices > Daily Price Rules and click Edit on the price.
2. Enable the price for Beds24 - agents.
3. If you have several agent codes, enter the codes the price applies to in Agent Codes.

Fixed Prices:

1. Go to Prices > Fixed Prices and open a Fixed Price or add a new one.
2. In the Summary tab, enter the prices and conditions for the agent.
3. In the Channels tab, untick Beds24 and tick Beds24 - agents.
4. If you have several agent codes, enter the codes the price applies to in Agent Codes.

Expected result: the price shows only on the agent booking page.

Give agents a login

Create logins for agents with the Agent role in Account Management (click the user icon at the top right, then Account Management; in the old control panel, Sub Account at the top right).

• A sub account with the Agent role has access to the Calendar only. Agents can view, add and manage their own bookings. Bookings from other sources show as blocked dates with no details.
• To limit which prices an agent can book, add the agent code in Account Management > Manage Account > Account Settings > Agent codes.
• Hide individual booking fields from the agent with the hidesettings menu of their sub account.
• Agents can use the API functions JSON getBookings and JSON setBooking to view, create or modify their own bookings, with the same limits as in the control panel.
• Agents can only access rooms with a sell priority of 10 or higher.
