Daily Prices are prices for single dates. You set the rules for up to 16 Daily Prices per room in Prices > Daily Price Rules, then enter the prices in Prices > Daily Prices or the Calendar, which makes seasonal and day-by-day changes easy.

In the old control panel, Daily Prices are in Settings > Properties > Rooms > Daily Prices.
Set the rules for a Daily Price
The Beds24 setup wizard guides you through the setup.
Steps:
- Go to Prices > Daily Price Rules and click Edit.
- Enter a name. It shows in the Calendar.
- Set Price For (the number of guests) and Minimum Stay.
- Optional: set an Extra Person and Extra Child price (see below).
- Leave Offer at 1, your standard offer that always shows. Only set it to 2, 3 or 4 if you have activated more offers.
- Under Enable, tick where the price is used: your booking page and/or channels. If you have several rates at a channel, map the matching channel rate ID.
- Optional: set a colour. The default is #4aa41c.
- Optional: enable or disable voucher codes and upsell items for this price.
Expected result: the Daily Price shows as a row in the Calendar. If no tick box under Enable is ticked, the Daily Price is inactive and doesn't show in the Calendar.
Extra person and extra child prices
A zero value turns the extra person function off. A positive or negative value works like this:
- Positive value: added for each guest above the Price For setting. The Daily Price is available up to the number of guests the room allows. Example: three people booking a Daily Price set for two pay one extra person price. One person pays the two-person price.
- Negative value: deducted for each guest below the Price For setting. The Daily Price isn't available for more guests than Price For. Example: one person booking a Daily Price set for two gets one extra person discount. Three people can't book this price.
To charge extra adults but not children, set Extra Child to 0.01 and set Price Rounding in Settings > Properties > Description to -0.10. This removes the child price from the calculation.
Note: extra person prices can be sent to channels that accept them. Channels don't accept children prices, and the limits differ per channel. See the help page of each channel.
Link Daily Prices
Linked Daily Prices take their price from another Daily Price, so a change in one updates all linked prices. You can link within a room, between rooms and between properties.
- A linked price can't be entered directly. It's always imported from the Daily Price it's linked to.
- You can only link to a Daily Price that isn't linked itself.
- Linking only imports the price. The linked Daily Price keeps its own rules for number of guests, minimum stay, channels and so on.
- You can set an offset amount or percentage for the imported price. For example, an offset amount of 10 raises the price by 10, -10 lowers it by 10, and 0 keeps the original price. An offset percent of 10 raises it by 10%, and -10 lowers it by 10%.
Enter prices
Enter the prices in Prices > Daily Prices or in the Calendar. To add restrictions for dates, use Override in the Calendar.
Add, restrict and delete Daily Prices
- Add a Daily Price Rule: go to Prices > Daily Price Rules and click Add New Daily Price Rule. Then enter the prices in Prices > Daily Prices or the Calendar.
- Restrict check-in and check-out: in the Calendar, you can limit the days check-in and check-out are allowed and set minimum stays that change by season.
- Same-day bookings: set a Same Day Booking Cut off in Settings > Properties > Booking Rules.
- Delete a Daily Price: unlink any Daily Prices linked to it first.
Combine Daily Prices and Fixed Prices
You can use only Daily Prices, only Fixed Prices or both. Combined, a Daily Price can adjust the price for a date or date range.
By default the system offers the lowest price that meets all Daily Price and Fixed Price rules. Change this with Daily Price Strategy in Settings > Properties > Booking Rules:
- Allow Lower Prices: Fixed Prices can undercut Daily Prices. Required if you have Daily Prices for different occupancies.
- Do Not Allow Lower Prices: Fixed Prices can't undercut Daily Prices.
- You can also allow no other prices at all.
Note: rules in Fixed Prices have no effect on Daily Prices.
Use Fixed Prices instead of Daily Prices to fill gaps when a minimum stay is required, to let guests enquire when no price is found but the room isn't fully booked, and for referrer discounts.
Important Notes
- You can have up to 16 Daily Prices per room.
- Daily Prices for past dates are deleted automatically. If you need them for reference, download them to a .csv file with the API in time.
- With linked prices, only the room the price was set up for updates to channels instantly. Linked rooms update with the next routine update, or you can push them manually.
- Daily Prices linked in Settings > Properties > Rooms > Dependencies can't be sent to channels. Use an independent Daily Price for an OTA.
- Where prices are used, for channels and/or the Beds24 booking page, depends on the Enable tick boxes. See Setting Prices for Booking Channels.
