The error You don't have permission to access control2.php on this server shows when something in your content triggers the firewall. Find and reword the item that causes it, or send Beds24 the details so support can check.
Find the item that triggers the firewall
Often it is a script or HTML item that looks like a possible hacking attack to the firewall. It can also be something that looks innocent, like a combination of numbers and words such as "and" or "or" that hackers often use in SQL injection attacks.
- Add the content bit by bit until you find the item that causes the problem.
- Reword the item and make sure you use valid HTML.
Expected result: you can save the page without the error.
Ask support to check
Beds24 can check what causes the error. Send a support ticket with:
- your IP address (if you don't know it, use a service like WhatIsMyIP.com)
- the GMT time you saw the error
- the page where you saw the error
Delete the corrupted content
If you can't edit the page any more, open it without its content by adding &noload=all (or a 2-character language code such as &noload=en) to the URL, then save. This clears all settings on the page. For the full steps, including popup windows, see Delete the content of a page.
