Yacan reads your bookings from Beds24 and sends the data to its smart locks, so you manage bookings in Beds24 and the booking codes in Yacan. Yacan then writes the lock code and the link to open the lock back to the booking as an info code.
Connect Yacan
You need: an account with Yacan.
Step 1: Allow API access
- Go to Settings > Account > Account Access.
- Enter a 16-character API key in the API Key field. You choose the key: create a random code with any combination of letters and numbers.
- Set API Key Access = allow any IP.
- Set Allow Writes = Yes.
- Set Property Access = Owned by this account only.
- Click Save.
Step 2: Set your property keys
- Go to Settings > Properties > Access.
- Add a propKey. It must be at least 16 characters long and unique: you can't use the same key more than once.
- Click Save.
- Repeat for each property you want to connect.
Expected result: Yacan can import your bookings from Beds24.
How it works
- Yacan imports your bookings every 30 minutes.
- Once imported, Yacan updates the booking in Beds24 with the smart lock code and the link to open it, in the booking info code
LOCKROOM. - To send the details to the guest, use
[BOOKINGINFOCODETEXT:LOCKROOM]in an Auto Action.
