VRBO iCal

Synchronise your Beds24 calendar with your Vrbo calendar by iCal in Settings > Channel Manager > VRBO iCal: Beds24 sends your availability to Vrbo and imports Vrbo bookings. Use iCal only if you aren't eligible for the Vrbo XML connection, which is more reliable.

Quick Guide

1. Tick Inventory, save, and paste the Beds24 Import Calendar (Inventory) URL into Vrbo's Calendar Import.
2. Copy Vrbo's Export Calendar URL into the Beds24 Export Calendar (Bookings) setting, tick Bookings and save.

Capabilities and limitations

With the iCal connection, Beds24 can export inventory and import bookings, booking modifications and cancellations. For the full list, see Channel Manager Capabilities.

• Prices can't be exported. Set them at Vrbo.
• Vrbo starts the calendar updates. Beds24 can't control how often Vrbo updates its calendar.
• Past bookings and guest email addresses aren't imported.
• You might still need to log in to Vrbo and click Update in the calendar settings, so Vrbo registers that you maintain your listing.

Before you connect

• Beds24 doesn't send prices, but it needs valid prices to send availability. See Setting Prices for Booking Channels.
• If you sell a room type with a quantity of more than one on other channels, set up virtual rooms.
• You need two URLs: the Beds24 Import Calendar (Inventory) URL goes into Vrbo's calendar import, and Vrbo's Export Calendar URL goes into the Beds24 Export Calendar (Bookings) setting.

Export your availability to Vrbo

1. In Settings > Channel Manager > VRBO iCal, tick Inventory and click Save.
2. Copy the Import Calendar (Inventory) URL.
3. Log in to Vrbo and go to Calendar.
4. Click the calendar icon at the top right of the calendar, then Calendar Import.
5. Paste the Beds24 URL where Vrbo asks for it.

Expected result: Vrbo blocks the dates that are unavailable in Beds24 the next time it updates its calendar.

Import Vrbo bookings to Beds24

1. Log in to Vrbo and go to Calendar.
2. Click the calendar icon at the top right of the calendar, then Calendar Export.
3. Copy the URL listed for Export Calendar.
4. In Settings > Channel Manager > VRBO iCal, paste it into Export Calendar (Bookings), tick Bookings and click Save.

If you don't want to import requests, set Booking Requests = ignore.

Expected result: Vrbo bookings show in Beds24 and block the room.

Troubleshooting

Disconnect

1. Untick Inventory and Bookings for the room and click Save. Synchronisation stops.
2. Log in to Vrbo and delete the Beds24 URL.
