  • Beds24 imports bookings, modifications and cancellations. You can turn off importing modifications and cancellations for individual bookings.
  • Only mapped rates can be updated.

Before you connect

Beds24 only sends availability when you have prices that are active for Traveloka. See Setting Prices for Booking Channels. Traveloka supports prices that include or exclude commission; this is set per hotel in the Traveloka extranet.

Price type What Beds24 sends
Fixed prices 1 person, 2 person and room price. The room price is sent for the occupancy you specify. Several prices with different occupancies can go on the same rate plan. Extra person and extra child prices, and discounts on the Discounts tab, can't be sent.
Daily prices The daily price including occupancy. Several occupancy prices can go on each rate plan. The extra person price is sent.

If you sell rooms individually elsewhere but as a room type with a quantity above one on Traveloka, set up virtual rooms.

Connect Traveloka

You need: your Traveloka hotel mapping/pass code.

Step 1: Request the connection at Traveloka

Contact your Traveloka market manager and ask to be connected to the Beds24 channel manager. Once Traveloka has enabled the connection and given you your code, continue in Beds24.

Step 2: Enter your code in Beds24

  1. Go to Settings > Channel Manager > Traveloka and enter the mapping/pass code from Traveloka in Hotel code.
  2. Set the currency. If you use a different currency in Beds24, use the price multiplier.

Step 3: Map your rooms

  1. Click Get Code next to the room type ID setting. If no codes appear, check that you've set up room types in Traveloka and added at least one price for each room.
  2. Click the Traveloka room ID you want to map to each Beds24 room.
  3. When the room ID is copied into the room type ID setting, click Save.

Step 4: Map your rates

Important: Map all rate codes for the room. Unmapped rate codes can't be updated and can leave the room open at Traveloka.

  1. Click Get Code next to the rate code setting.
  2. Click the Traveloka standard rate for this room.
  3. When the rate code is copied into the rate plan code setting, click Save.

Beds24 can send a single (1 guest), double (2 guests) and room price (for the number of guests defined in the price). For more than 3 occupancy levels, set up extra fixed prices for each occupancy level and map them in the channel settings of the fixed prices or the daily price:

  • Daily prices: set the rate code under Enable in the daily price settings (Prices > Daily Prices Setup, then click Edit).
  • Fixed prices: set it on the Channels tab of the fixed price.

Step 5: Activate the connection

  1. Click View Actual Data to check the availability and prices Beds24 will send.
  2. Tick Inventory, Prices and Bookings.
  3. Click Save.

Expected result: Beds24 sends your availability and prices to Traveloka and imports new bookings, modifications and cancellations. Prices already set in Traveloka are overridden but can't be removed. If Beds24 sends no prices, it sends no availability, and what was originally in Traveloka is displayed. Changes to settings go with the next update, see Updates and changes.

Price multiplier

To mark your prices up or down, or convert the currency, add * and the multiplier to your hotel code. For example, 123456*12.34 multiplies all prices sent for hotel code 123456 by 12.34, and *[CONVERT:IDR-EUR] converts Indonesian rupiah to euros. See Price multiplier for all options.

Multiple rates at Traveloka

Traveloka sets up several rate codes per room, each with its own booking conditions, and you map a different Beds24 fixed price or daily price to each code. See Map channel rate codes.

Troubleshooting

Beds24 emails you any error Traveloka returns during an update. Traveloka doesn't return details of what caused an error, so check the known problems below. If none of them applies, ask Traveloka support why you receive the error. For general causes and fixes, see Troubleshooting in How the Channel Manager works.

Error or problem Cause and fix
Rate code Traveloka currently only allows the rate code Retail. Check that only Retail is mapped in your channel manager settings, fixed prices and daily prices.
Prices too low or wrong currency Check that the prices you send comply with your price limit in Traveloka.
Retail price is less than single price Check with Traveloka whether you have a price limit, and if so, have it raised high enough.
Invalid hotel code" Code="392" Check that the Traveloka hotel code you entered is correct and has no spaces. If it is, ask your Traveloka market manager to check that the connection with the Beds24 channel manager is enabled.
Invalid rate code" Code="249" You're sending prices for a Traveloka code that doesn't exist. Click Get Codes to see your available rate codes, and map only these in your channel manager settings, daily prices and fixed prices.
Required Field Missing" Code="321">Retail price or single price is null The number of guests set up in Traveloka must match Maximum Guests in Beds24. In Settings > Channel Manager > Traveloka, click Get the Rate Plan Codes for this Hotel code and find the Traveloka room ID. Then check the Beds24 room in Settings > Properties > Rooms > Setup > Maximum Guests.
Error Type="13" ShortText="System error" Code="448" Traveloka doesn't accept one or more of the prices you send. Check your rate protection: you can't send a price lower than the rate protection value set in Traveloka. To send a lower price, ask Traveloka to lift the rate protection.
Room codes aren't available Check that your Traveloka hotel code is entered correctly and that Traveloka has confirmed the connection. If both are correct, check that you've set up room types in Traveloka and added at least one price for each room.

Disconnect Traveloka

  • Untick Inventory, Prices and Bookings to stop the synchronisation for a room.
  • To disconnect the channel manager completely, you may need to ask Traveloka to disconnect you.
