Sell a room both as a dorm and as a private room by making each depend on the other. A booking for the private room closes all dorm beds, and a booked dorm bed closes the private room.
Warning: Test your dependencies thoroughly. Connecting one physical room more than once to a booking channel risks overbookings. See How to setup Room Linking and Dependencies.
Set up the dorm and the private room
Example: You have a dorm with 4 beds that you also sell as a private family room.
- In Settings > Properties > Rooms, create a private room with a maximum occupancy of 4 guests and a dorm with 4 beds. For the dorm, see How to - Hostel and Retreat Setup.
- In Settings > Properties > Rooms > Dependencies, set:

Leave all other settings at the defaults.
Expected result: The private room is bookable only while all 4 beds are free, and the dorm beds are bookable only while the private room is free.
