The potential issue "Multiple bookings in unit" shows when a room type has a quantity of more than one and two bookings are placed in the same unit. It isn't an overbooking. To fix it, assign one of the bookings to an unoccupied unit.
Example: you have 3 double rooms (double room 1, double room 2, double room 3) and 2 bookings are placed in double room 1.
Why it happens
Beds24 tries to place a guest in one unit if one is available. If no single unit is free for the whole stay, the booking still goes into the room type in any way possible, so the inventory is correct for each date. This can put two parties in the same unit for part of the stay. There are still enough rooms each night, so it isn't an overbooking, but you need to move the guests between units.
Fix it
- Open the booking.
- Assign it to a unit that is unoccupied and save.
Expected result: each booking is in its own unit and the warning disappears from Potential Issues.
