Show different prices to guests on mobile devices and on desktops. On your booking page, use two offers and a script. For Booking.com and Expedia, create a mobile rate from Beds24.
Set mobile prices for direct bookings
Offer 1 shows only on desktops and Offer 2 only on mobile devices. Any other offers always show.
Steps:
- If you don't have a second offer yet, go to Settings > Properties > Offers and create one. Then set up prices for the offer. For detailed instructions, click the question mark icon at the top right of the page.
- Go to Settings > Booking Engine > Property Booking Page > Developers and add this script to the
<head>section:<script>$(document).ready(function() {if($(window).width() >= 800) {$('.offerid1').show();$('.offerid2').hide();}else{$('.offerid1').hide();$('.offerid2').show();}});</script>
Expected result: screens 800 pixels wide or more show Offer 1, smaller screens show Offer 2.
Set mobile rates for channels
- Booking.com: add a mobile rate in Prices > Promotions > Booking.com.
- Expedia: add a mobile rate in Prices > Promotions > Expedia.
- Other OTAs: some let you create mobile rates in their extranet.
