Login troubleshooting

When you log in from a device or browser Beds24 doesn't recognise, compulsory two-factor authentication (2FA) sends a login link to your Beds24 admin email address. Open that link in the same browser you used to log in. Most login problems come from the email not arriving or the link opening in another browser.

Quick Guide

  1. Log in, then open the email Beds24.com - login code in your admin email inbox.
  2. Open the link in the same browser you used for the login attempt.
  3. If several emails arrived, use only the most recent one.

Log in from a new device or browser

The email with a special login link is sent when you:

  • log in from a different device or browser than usual
  • log in from an iPhone or iPad
  • have deleted or disabled cookies
  • have cleared your browser history
  • use a VPN, proxy, or private/incognito window

Warning: The login only works if you open the email link in the same browser that was used for the login attempt.

Tip: On iOS, if the email opens in a different app or browser, copy the link manually and open it in Safari. See How to Copy a Link in iOS Mail and the video guide.

Reason for the security checks

These verification steps protect you and your guests from phishing and fraud. Fake Beds24 sites have been reported in search results. If you enter your login details on a fraudulent site, attackers can access your account and contact your guests. Verification through your registered email address reduces this risk. See How to manage Security.

Login email not received

  1. Look in your spam or junk folder.
  2. Check the inbox of the correct email address: the one associated with your Beds24 account.
  3. Search for emails with the subject Beds24.com - login code.
  4. Whitelist, or ask your email provider to allow, all messages from the domain @beds24.com and the IP address 188.34.132.40.
  5. If you reset your password on the Forgot password page, use the correct username as shown in previous Beds24 emails. An old or different username prevents you from receiving the reset link.
  6. Wait a few minutes in case your provider delays delivery. Emails are sent instantly, but some providers, corporate systems or spam filters queue messages for several minutes. Refresh, or force your email system to fetch new messages.

Note: If you made several login attempts, only the most recent email contains a valid link. Older links become invalid automatically.

General troubleshooting

If you still can't log in:

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies, then restart your browser.
  • Log in with a different browser, for example Firefox instead of Chrome.
  • Disable browser extensions such as password managers, ad blockers or privacy tools that can interfere with login or redirects.
  • Update your browser to the latest version.
  • Check that your system clock and time zone are correct. Incorrect time settings can cause session or token validation errors.
  • Temporarily disable any VPN or proxy connection and log in again.
  • Make sure JavaScript and cookies are enabled in your browser settings.
  • Log in from a private or incognito window to rule out cached data.
  • On a shared or company network, ask your IT department or network administrator to check whether security software or a firewall blocks beds24.com.

If none of these steps help and you are still logged into the control panel, open a support ticket and Beds24 support helps you with the next steps.

Shared or additional users

  • If someone else uses the same Beds24 account but can't access the admin email inbox, set up a forwarding rule so they receive the login verification email.
  • If several people need regular access, create additional logins with their own credentials where available. See Password and Sub Account.
