Languages

Let guests book in their own language and see prices in their own currency. Both options are in Settings > Booking Engine > Internationalization.

Offer your booking page in several languages

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Booking Engine > Internationalization.
  2. Tick the languages you want to offer.
  3. Save your changes.
  4. Enter your descriptions, booking page information, notifications and, if you use them, upsell items separately for each language you enabled.

Expected result: guests can choose between your enabled languages on the booking page.

Note: the confirmation table and invoice table always use the guest's language, even if it isn't one of your enabled languages.

You can also create widgets in several languages in Settings > Booking Engine > Booking Widgets. For a booking page embedded in a multilingual website, see Multilingual Booking Page.

Show a currency converter

The currency converter adds a currency selector to your booking page. It converts your prices at the current exchange rate from the European Central Bank. The conversion is based on the currency code set in Settings > Properties > Description. If you have several properties, each can have its own currency.

Prerequisites: the responsive version of the booking page. To change the version, go to Settings > Booking Engine.

To hide some currencies from the selector, use custom CSS. See How to use Custom CSS.

Important notes

  • The currency converter only works on your booking page. If a booking channel needs a different currency from your standard currency, add a price multiplier to the channel instead. See How the Channel Manager works.
