Jomres

Connect your Jomres properties directly to Beds24 in Settings > Marketplace > Jomres: Beds24 exports inventory and prices (tariffs) to Jomres and imports bookings. For the Jomres plugin, which uses the Beds24 channel manager, see Jomres Plugin.

Quick Guide

  1. Install the required Jomres plugins (Jomres v9.22.0 or later).
  2. Get your Jomres API Client ID/Secret and Jomres API System Client ID/Secret.
  3. In Settings > Marketplace > Jomres, enter your Jomres URL and credentials and click Save.
  4. Create the channel and connect your Jomres properties.
  5. Enter the Jomres room and tariff IDs and tick inventory, prices and bookings.

Jomres plugins

Your Jomres version must be v9.22.0 or later. Install these plugins:

Jomres API keys

You need two sets of credentials from Jomres: the Jomres API Client ID/Secret and the Jomres API System Client ID/Secret.

Get the Jomres API Client ID and Secret

  1. In your Jomres installation, go to Manage Properties and click Account Details, then App Key Management.
  2. Click View next to the API client you want to use, or click New to create a client.
  3. Note the Client ID and Secret. You need them to synchronise the inventory, prices and bookings of your Jomres properties with Beds24.
  4. Make sure the property permissions Get property, Set property, Channel Management and Get data as part of a webhook communication are ticked.

Get the Jomres API System Client ID and Secret

  1. Log in to Jomres.
  2. Click Tools, then REST API test.
  3. Note the System Client ID and Secret. You need them to connect your Jomres properties to Beds24.

Connect Jomres in Beds24

Step 1: Enter your Jomres credentials

  1. Enter your Jomres URL.
  2. Enter your API Key (Jomres API Client ID).
  3. Enter your API Secret (Jomres API Client Secret).
  4. Click Save.

Step 2: Create the channel

  1. Click View all listings. The message "Channel does not exist" shows.
  2. To connect all properties in your Jomres installation, enter your Jomres System Client ID and Secret and click Create channel and connect all properties. Skip Step 3.
  3. To choose which properties to connect, click Create channel.

Step 3: Connect your Jomres properties

After the channel is created, a table shows all properties in your Jomres installation.

  1. Enter your Jomres System Client ID and Secret.
  2. Click Connect in the Status column for each property you want to connect, or click Connect all. The links in the More info column retrieve more information about the property from your Jomres installation.
  3. Return to the Jomres setup page in Beds24 and enter the Property ID of the connected Jomres property.

Step 4: Connect rooms and synchronise

  1. Enter the Jomres room type ID in the Room ID field. Click get codes to see a list of room types for the property.
  2. Enter the Jomres tariff type ID in the Tariff ID field. Click get codes to see a list of tariff types for the room.
  3. Tick the inventory, prices and bookings boxes to synchronise them.

Expected result: Updated tariffs and availability show in Jomres. To check: open the property page in Jomres, click Properties, then Preview, scroll down to the blue tabs and click Availability or Accommodation Prices.

Tariff settings

You can change these tariff settings by logging in to Jomres:

  • Tariff name/description
  • Max days (maximum days of the visit)
  • Min/max people (minimum/maximum number of people for the tariff to be valid)
  • Day of week (check-in day of the week allowed)
  • Ignore PPPN (charge per person per night)
  • Allow weekend (allow bookings that span weekend days)
  • Min/max rooms already selected (room/tariff combinations offered only if the guest has already selected another room in the booking form)

Troubleshooting

Issue Likely cause Resolution
The connection fails with your credentials You need two different API keys, found in different places in your Jomres installation. Get both the API Client ID/Secret and the System Client ID/Secret (see Jomres API keys).
Prices don't synchronise The property's tariff configuration was changed manually to something other than micromanage. Beds24 sets it to micromanage automatically when the property is connected. Set the tariff configuration of the property back to micromanage in Jomres.
Bookings don't import The Api Feature Webhooks plugin is missing or out of date. Check that the plugin is installed and up to date.

Disconnect

  1. Click View all listings.
  2. In the Status column, click Disconnect for the property you want to disconnect.
