Hostvana

Hostvana is a configurable AI-powered assistant that replies automatically to most guest messages. When you allow API access, Hostvana imports your properties and bookings from Beds24. Hostvana maintains the connection, and you need a Hostvana account to use it.

Tip: Beds24 users get a 25% discount when they sign up through the Beds24 link.

Quick Guide

1. Generate your API key in Hostvana.
2. Enter it in Settings > Account > Account Access with API Key Access = allow any IP.
3. For each property, paste the Hostvana property key and webhook URL in Settings > Properties > Access.
4. Click REFRESH PROPERTIES in Hostvana and link each property.

What Hostvana does

• Cleaning coordination: shares updated bookings with cleaners and staff immediately.
• Problem reporting: forwards problems to the right repair person immediately.
• Guest filtering: filters problematic guests by distance from the listing or by red flags in messages.
• Smart lock codes: sends guests unique door codes.
• Timed messages: keeps your guest informed throughout the booking.

Connect Hostvana

Step 1: Generate an API key

Log in to Hostvana and generate your API key.

Step 2: Allow API access in Beds24

1. Go to Settings > Account > Account Access.
2. Enter the API key you generated in Hostvana into the API Key field.
3. Set API Key Access = allow any IP.
4. Click Save.

Step 3: Connect your properties

Connect each property with a property key and a booking webhook.

1. In Hostvana, open the Connect your listings to Hostvana section.
2. Click the Copy button to the right of a grey house to copy a property key.
3. In Beds24 (in a separate tab), paste the key into propKey in Settings > Properties > Access > API Access and click Save.
4. In the Hostvana onboarding tab, click the Copy button to the right of the Webhook URL.
5. Paste it into Settings > Properties > Access > Booking Webhook > URL and click Save.
6. In the Hostvana onboarding tab, click the blue REFRESH PROPERTIES button.
7. Click the green house icon to finish linking the property.
8. Repeat these steps for every property you want to link.

Expected result: Your properties show as linked in Hostvana. You can watch an optional feature overview video, then click the menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the top left to explore the app.

How it works

Log in to your account at the Hostvana app to start using it. Until you dismiss them, video tutorials take you through each section. The Help section has all video tutorials, an FAQ and the Hostvana wiki.
