Safely provides short-term rental protection with guest screening and damage and liability insurance from On Demand Insurance Agency. When you allow API access, Safely imports your properties and bookings from Beds24. You need a Safely account to use the integration. Safely maintains the connection: if you have problems or need more information, contact Safely support.
Quick Guide
- Set up an API key with the Safely IP whitelist in Settings > Account > Account Access.
- Add a propKey of at least 16 characters for each property in Settings > Properties > Access.
- Only then connect your Beds24 account in Safely.
Connect Safely
Warning: Don't connect the Beds24 account to Safely until Step 2 is complete. If you connect the account without propKeys of the correct length in place, all properties must be deleted from Safely and imported again.
Step 1: Allow API access
- Go to Settings > Account > Account Access.
- Enter a 16-character key in the API Key field. You choose the key: create a random code with any combination of letters and numbers.
- Set API Key Access = allow IP whitelist only.
- Set Allow Writes = No.

- Click Save.
Step 2: Set your property keys
- Go to Settings > Properties > Access.
- Add a propKey. It must be at least 16 characters long and unique (you can't use the same key more than once).
- Click Save.
Expected result: Once connected, Safely reads your bookings automatically and insures them for the coverage you selected.
