Set account-wide preferences for the different areas of the control panel in Settings > Account > Preferences: control panel version and colours, calendar display, booking options and the booking header. The context help (the ? icon next to each setting) explains every setting in detail.
Control Panel
Adjust general settings. The current version of the control panel is New Control Panel.
| Booking type | Default colour |
|---|---|
| New Booking | #fe746c |
| Request Booking | #7bcbed |
| Confirmed Booking | #019cde |
| Cancelled Booking | #c7c7c7 |
| Fixed Prices | #7aab0a |
For sub accounts, you can set whether they see the old (default) or the new control panel, or can choose themselves. Click the User icon, then Account Management to set this. See Sub Account.
Warning: When you change versions, custom CSS for the control panel needs updating. Comment it out or remove it. To add custom CSS only for the new control panel, target the class .controlpanel3.
Control Panel Calendar
Set how your data displays on the Calendar page. The Unit Status Values set the options you can choose in the Calendar and in the housekeeping modules on the Dashboard.
Bookings
Define how bookings are displayed and managed.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Booking Flag | Marks bookings with a colour and a text. The options you define here are available for selection in the booking. |
| Booking Info Codes | Mark bookings with certain criteria so you can select them, for example for reports or Auto Actions. Some info codes are added automatically from information the channel sends, and you can apply info codes yourself. The options you define here are available on the Info tab of the booking. |
| Check-out rules | Which validation checks run during check-out. See Check-out rules. |
Check-out rules
- None (default): no warning is displayed during check-out.
- Booking balance higher than 0: a pop-up warning shows the booking balance when you check out a booking with an outstanding balance greater than 0. You can continue with the check-out or cancel it.
Note: The warning is informational only and doesn't prevent the check-out.
Booking Header
Use template variables to create a custom view of your bookings. The template variables you add as Booking Header appear at the top of the booking, above the tabs, so they are visible on every tab. See Template Variables.
