The POS API connects an external POS system to Beds24. Menus in your bookings let you select invoice items and send them to the POS system, and the POS system can read and write invoice items in the booking, for example to add a payment.
What the integration does
- Beds24 adds menus to your bookings so you can select invoice items and send them to the POS system.
- The selected items are sent in a webhook to a URL that the POS system specifies.
- The POS system can read and write invoice items in the booking, for example add a payment.
Connect a POS system
In Beds24
- Go to Settings > Marketplace > API POS.
- Copy the POS API token to send to the integrated POS system.
- Enter the notify URL supplied by the POS system. You can enter several URLs, one per line: you then choose which URL to send the data to. To show a name for a URL when you choose, enter it after a space on the same line.
- Under Room Mapping, enable synchronisation for the rooms you want to sync.
In the POS system
- Send the POS API token of each property you want to connect to the integration partner.
- For further instructions, contact the integration partner's support.
Disconnect a POS system
Select Disable to disconnect a room and stop sending its data.
