Manage how you and other systems sign in to your Beds24 account in Settings > Account > Account Access: your password, the administrator email, an additional login, security options and API access.
Account Access settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Password | The password for your account. |
| Administrator Email | The email address for the account. It receives important system emails. |
| Additional login | Allows an additional login with the same username. Restrictions apply to the additional login: click the (?) context help next to the setting for details. |
| Security | Regular password changes, 2 Factor Authentication and Session Timeout increase security. Select the options you want to use. |
| Allow API Access | Lets you access your account from an external source with the Beds24 API. See API access. |
API access
The API has three types of functions: CSV, XML and JSON. Each needs a different authorisation:

| CSV | Your Beds24 account username and password |
| XML | Your Beds24 account username and password |
| JSON | Two keys: one for the API itself and one for the property. Each key consists of 16 characters of your choosing. |
Set up the JSON keys
- Set the API key in Settings > Properties > Access, for example:

- Set the property key in Settings > Properties > Access, for example:
