Operto is a property automation platform for all types of accommodation. It connects teams, guests, managers and smart devices in the Operto Connect™ ecosystem to improve operational efficiency and revenue for property managers and give guests a premium stay. The Beds24 integration works with Operto and Operto Teams (formerly VRScheduler) and imports your properties and bookings from Beds24. You need an Operto account to use it.
If you want to use the connection only for Operto and not for Operto Teams, contact Operto support.
Quick Guide
- Set up an API key with the Operto IP whitelist in Settings > Account > Account Access.
- Add a propKey of at least 16 characters for each property in Settings > Properties > Access.
- Only then connect your Beds24 account in Operto.
Connect Operto
Warning: Don't connect the Beds24 account to Operto until Step 2 is complete. If you connect the account without propKeys of the correct length in place, all properties must be deleted from Operto and imported again.
Step 1: Allow API access
- Go to Settings > Account > Account Access.
- Enter a 16-character key in the API Key field. You choose the key: create a random code with any combination of letters and numbers.
- Set API Key Access = allow whitelist IP only.

- Set Property Access = Owned by this account only.
- Click Save.
Step 2: Set your property keys
- Go to Settings > Properties > Access.
- Add a propKey. It must be at least 16 characters long and unique (you can't use the same key more than once).
- Click Save.
- Repeat for each property you want to connect.
Expected result: Operto imports your properties and bookings once you connect the account.
How it works
- Operto imports your bookings every 30 minutes.
- You can link a status value to an Operto task rule. When a task generated by that rule is complete, the unit status in Beds24 changes to that status value.
- If you allow owners to enter bookings in Operto, import them by iCal in Settings > Channel Manager > iCal Import.
