Ask guests to pay a deposit by bank transfer or cheque with Offline Payments. Enabling it adds a payment button to your booking page that shows your instructions when the guest clicks it.
Set up offline payments
- Go to Settings > Payments > Payment Gateways > Offline Payments.
- Enter your instructions for the guest in Instructions. The guest also sees them in the confirmation on screen and in the email confirmation.
- Optional: set how many days in advance of arrival offline payments are allowed.
- Set Enable / Priority to a number and save.
Expected result: your booking page shows an offline payment button with your instructions.
To remove the option from your booking page, set Enable / Priority to Not Used.
Important Notes
- Beds24 isn't notified when a guest pays. Enter the payment manually on the Charges and Payments tab of the booking.
- Beds24 doesn't charge a deposit collection fee for this option.
