Hostkit (formerly Siga)

Hostkit (formerly Siga) is a Portuguese platform that sends mandatory police immigration data (SEF) and generates certified invoices for property owners. Connect it to Beds24 with an API key and a property key. Hostkit maintains the connection, and you need a Hostkit account to use it.

Quick Guide

1. Create a propKey and enter the Hostkit callback URL in Settings > Properties > Access.
2. Set Booking Redirect = never in Settings > Booking Engine > Property Booking Page > Behaviour.
3. Allow API access and set up the API key in Settings > Account.
4. Add a Beds24 external mapping to the property in Hostkit.

Connect Hostkit

Step 1: Set the property access

1. Go to Settings > Properties > Access.
2. Generate a propKey by entering the code you want to use. Hostkit suggests Hostkit-XXXXX-PROPKEY, where XXXXX is the property ID.
3. In the URL box, enter https://siga.center/beds24/callback.cgi.
4. Click Save.

You also need your Beds24 API key, which you generate in Settings > Account > Account Access by entering the code you want to use.

Step 2: Turn off the booking redirect

1. Go to Settings > Booking Engine > Property Booking Page > Behaviour.
2. Set Booking Redirect = never.
3. Leave Booking Redirect URL empty and click Save.

Step 3: Allow API access

1. Go to Settings > Account and allow API access in the Link section.
2. For API Key 1, use the propKey generated above as the API Key.
3. Set it to allow any IP, set Allow Writes = No and Property Access = Owned or linked to this account.
4. Click Save.

Step 4: Add the mapping in Hostkit

1. In Hostkit, edit the property.
2. Click External mappings: configure.
3. Add an entry with type = Beds24, External ID = the property ID (XXXXX above) and the API key defined above.

Expected result: Hostkit can read the property from Beds24.
