The guest login lets guests view their bookings, cancel them and send you messages without contacting you directly. Turn it on in Settings > Guest Management > Guest Login by setting Allow guest login to Yes.
Give guests the login link
Add the guest login link to your confirmation message or to Auto Action emails:
- The template variable
[GUESTLOGIN]creates a link to the login. - The login page is my-booking.info.
Let guests cancel bookings
Guests can cancel bookings themselves. By default, the cancellation policy from Settings > Booking Engine > Property Booking Page > Content applies. You can override it for offers or for individual bookings.
- Add the template variable
[CANCELURL]to your confirmation email. It adds a link to the guest login where the guest can cancel the booking. - When a guest cancels, they receive a system notification that the booking was cancelled.
- To send an additional email, set up an Auto Action email in Settings > Guest Management > Auto Actions.
Receive guest messages
Guests can send you messages from the guest login. You receive an email notification for each new message and can reply to it.
