Connect Google Calendar to Beds24 through the Google Calendar API for an instant two-way sync: Beds24 exports bookings to Google Calendar as events and imports Google Calendar events as bookings. This connection updates faster than iCal, so use it instead of iCal for Google Calendars.
Capabilities and limitations
- Beds24 exports bookings to Google Calendar as events, and imports Google Calendar events as bookings.
- You can map one room to one calendar. To map more rooms, create more calendars in Google Calendar.
- You can connect only one Beds24 property to the same Google Calendar. For several properties, use several Google Calendars.
- Change a booking where it was made:
- Bookings created in Google Calendar: change them in Google. Beds24 imports the change and updates the booking.
- Bookings from Beds24 or a channel: change them where they were made. Beds24 sends the change to Google Calendar.

Connect Google Calendar
Go to Settings > Channel Manager > Google Calendar API.
Step 1: Authenticate
- Click Connect Google Calendar.
- Sign in to your Google account if asked.
- On the Calendar API wants to access your Google Account screen, click Allow.
Step 2: Map your rooms to calendars
Click Get codes and choose the calendar you want to connect to the room.
Step 3: Choose what to synchronise
In Synchronization, choose:

If Blocked Date Summary isn't empty, dates blocked in Beds24 for reasons other than a booking are exported to Google Calendar with this summary.
Step 4: Customise the data (optional)
Click Edit for the room to customise what is exported or imported:
- Exported bookings start at 14:00 and end at 10:00 local time by default. You can use your check-in and check-out times instead.
- Customise the Summary, Description and Location of each event with text and Template Variables.
- Stop certain events from being imported.
Expected result: bookings appear as events in the mapped Google Calendar, and events you add in Google Calendar appear as bookings in Beds24, depending on the synchronisation you chose.
Disconnect Google Calendar
Set Sync Type = Disabled to stop syncing the room.
