Airbnb supports dorms: Beds24 sends the inventory, that is how many beds are available. Set up your dorm as a room type with individual beds, then make sure Airbnb sees each bed as a one-person listing.
Setup
You have a room type (dorm) with several individual beds (Unit Allocation = One per Guest) and want to sell them on Airbnb or another channel that needs a bed or unit.

One guest per bed
If Airbnb sees your units as rooms, it lets 6 people book each of the 6 beds. To fix this:
- Set Maximum Guests = 1.
- Set Sync Type = Everything and send an update to Airbnb.
Expected result: For Airbnb, each bed is one listing that only one person can book. You have 6 of these one-person beds, and Beds24 tells Airbnb how many are available.
Because a bed is for one person, a group that wants several beds has to book each bed separately. Guests can't choose 2 or more people when booking, because Airbnb would put them all in the same bed, which causes overbookings. Add an instruction to your description that each guest needs to book individually, because some guests might not understand this.
Note: Airbnb doesn't handle beds in a shared dorm room well, but this is the best available setup.
