Corrupted Content

If you can no longer edit a page because its HTML content is corrupted, something in the content has usually triggered the firewall. Find and reword the item that causes it, or delete the content of the page and enter it again.

Find the item that triggers the firewall

Often it is a script or HTML item that looks like a possible hacking attack to the firewall. It can also be something that looks innocent, like a combination of numbers and words such as "and" or "or" that hackers often use in SQL injection attacks.

  1. Add the content bit by bit until you find the item that causes the problem.
  2. Reword the item and make sure you use valid HTML.

Delete the content of a page

If you can't find the cause, or you can't edit the content any more, open the page without its content and save it.

Warning: This clears all settings on the page.

  1. Open the menu page and add &noload=all to the end of its URL. For example, this opens Settings > Booking Page > Page Design > Content with all content removed:
    ...beds24.com/control2.php?pagetype=bookingpagedesigncontent&noload=all
  2. Click Save.
  3. Enter your valid content and save again.

If you know which language has the problem, use its 2-character language code instead of all, for example for English:

...beds24.com/control2.php?pagetype=bookingpagedesigncontent&noload=en

Expected result: the page opens empty, or without the problem language, and you can edit it again.

If the corrupted content is in a popup window, for example the email content of an auto action:

  1. Open the auto action and go to the Email tab.
  2. Click Open in a new window at the top. Skip this step if your system is set to open popups in a new tab.
  3. Add &noload=all, or &noload=xx where xx is the language code, to the end of the URL and press Enter.
  4. Click Save.
