Give guests the choice to pay a deposit or leave their credit card details by activating credit card collection as one of several payment options. Beds24 doesn't charge the card: if needed, charge it manually through your bank or merchant account and enter the payment on the Charges and Payments tab of the booking.
Activate credit card collection as a payment option
- Go to Settings > Payments > Payment Gateways > Credit Card Collection.
- Set the Enable / Priority selector to a number.
- In Instructions, explain how the card will be used. The guest sees this in the confirmation on screen and in the email confirmation.
- Enable the cards you accept in Credit Card Rules.
Expected result: guests can choose to leave their card details instead of paying online.
Important Notes
- Beds24 doesn't charge a deposit collection fee for this option.
