The legacy booking strip is a widget that lets guests pick dates and guests in a strip on your website and opens your booking page. It is deprecated: create new widgets with the widget designer in Settings > Booking Engine > Booking Widgets if you can. See How to use Widgets.
Create a legacy booking strip
Steps:
- Go to Settings > Booking Engine > Booking Widgets > Booking Button and click the link at the bottom.
- Use the selector to choose whether the strip opens your booking page with all properties (if you have more than one), one property or one room.
- Set the design and other settings (see Customisation settings).
- Click Refresh to preview the strip.
- When you are happy with the design, click Get Code.
- Paste the code into your website's source code where the strip should display.
Expected result: the booking strip shows on your website.
Note: the strip can look slightly different depending on the browser.
