Goibibo

Connect Goibibo to Beds24 to send your availability and several rates per room to Goibibo and import its bookings and cancellations automatically. Goibibo accepts prices and inventory up to 450 days ahead.

Quick Guide

1. Ask your Goibibo market manager to connect you to Beds24.
2. In Settings > Channel Manager > Goibibo, enter your property key and hotel ID, and choose whether your prices include tax.
3. Map your rooms and rates with Get Code.
4. Check View Actual Data, tick Inventory, Prices and Bookings, and save.

Capabilities and limitations

• Beds24 exports inventory and multiple rates, up to 450 days ahead.
• Beds24 imports bookings, modifications and cancellations. You can turn off importing cancellations for individual bookings.
• Goibibo extra person pricing isn't supported. Set the base occupancy in Goibibo to the maximum number of guests the room can hold.
• Beds24 imports only bookings made after you connect. Enter existing bookings manually to block the dates, see Existing bookings.
• Upsell items can't be exported.

Before you connect

Beds24 only sends availability when you have prices that are active for Goibibo. See Setting Prices for Booking Channels.

Price type	What Beds24 sends
Fixed prices	1 person, 2 person and room price. The room price is sent for the occupancy you specify. Several rates with different occupancies can go on the same rate plan. Extra person and extra child prices, and discounts on the Discounts tab, can't be sent.
Daily prices	The daily price including occupancy. Several occupancy prices can go on each rate plan. The extra person price is sent.

• Beds24 sends a single (1 guest), double (2 guests) and room price; the room price applies to the maximum occupancy.
• Goibibo supports several prices per room, for example for different minimum stays, meal options, or refundable and non-refundable rates, and can calculate child prices. See Multiple rates at Goibibo.
• If you sell rooms individually elsewhere but as a room type with a quantity above one on Goibibo, set up virtual rooms.

Connect Goibibo

You need: your Goibibo property key and hotel ID.

Step 1: Request the connection at Goibibo

Contact your Goibibo market manager and ask to be connected to Beds24.

Step 2: Enter your codes in Beds24

1. Go to Settings > Channel Manager > Goibibo and enter your property key and hotel ID.
2. Choose whether the prices Beds24 sends include tax.

Step 3: Map your rooms

1. Click Get Code next to the room type ID setting.
2. Click the Goibibo room ID you want to map to each Beds24 room.
3. When the room ID is copied into the room type ID setting, click Save.

Step 4: Map your rates

1. Set the currency you use on Goibibo. If you use a different currency in Beds24, use the price multiplier.
2. Set whether your prices in Goibibo include taxes.
3. Click Get Code next to the rate plan ID setting.
4. Click the Goibibo standard rate for this room. Check that the rate plan ID is copied into the setting.
5. Click Save.

Step 5: Activate the connection

1. Click View Actual Data to check the availability and prices Beds24 will send.
2. Tick Inventory, Prices and Bookings.
3. Click Save.

Expected result: Beds24 sends your availability and prices to Goibibo and imports new bookings, modifications and cancellations. The connection works if you receive no error messages and Goibibo shows the right availability and prices.

If you receive error messages, fix them immediately: Goibibo rejects all updates while there is an error. See Troubleshooting. Changes to settings go with the next update, see Updates and changes.

Price multiplier

To mark your prices up or down, or convert the currency, enter a multiplier in the Multiplier field, for example *1.23 or *[CONVERT:IDR-EUR][/]0.85. See Price multiplier for all options.

Tip: To limit the number of bookings Goibibo can accept, use Channel Inventory.

Multiple rates at Goibibo

Goibibo supports several prices per room, for example for different minimum stays, meal options, or refundable and non-refundable rates. Goibibo sets up several rate plan IDs per room, each with its own booking conditions, and you map a different Beds24 price or offer to each one. See Map channel rate codes. If you don't have the rate IDs you need, ask Goibibo to add them.

Beds24 emails you any error Goibibo returns during an update. For general causes and fixes, see Troubleshooting in How the Channel Manager works.

Disconnect Goibibo

• Untick Inventory, Prices and Bookings to stop the synchronisation for a room.
• To disconnect the channel manager completely, you may need to ask Goibibo to disconnect you.
