Credit cards
- Booking page and payment requests: entering card details directly on the checkout page will be deprecated. Instead, card details are collected through a secure external service, which you set in the Credit Card payment gateway menu.
- Enhanced security measures for credit card storage.
- Credit card details collected through the Credit Card payment gateway are displayed only once and deleted after they have been viewed. Store the details securely offline if you need them.
- Cards collected through the Credit Card payment gateway can't be transmitted to Stripe automatically. If you use your Stripe account for card processing, collect the card with the Stripe payment gateway, not the Credit Card payment gateway.
Warning: These changes only apply to credit card details collected on the booking page or through a payment request. Nothing changes for credit cards submitted by OTAs.
IP address
The new Beds24 IP address is 188.34.132.40. If you have whitelisted the Beds24 IP in your email system or other services, update it.

Refreshed booking list with customisation and bulk actions
The list view for bookings (Bookings > List) is upgraded. You can now:
- make bulk changes to several bookings in one go
- choose which columns you see in the list
- change the order of the columns
- create and save several views

Booking overview
The booking overview is read-only and opens with the clipboard icon. Click an Edit icon to go to the tab where you can make changes. Beds24 plans to build out the overview so it eventually includes all functions and replaces the tabs.

Slide-out help
Slide-out help is being added to selected menu pages. When you hover over the question mark icon, for example in Settings > Channel Manager > Airbnb > View Content, you see a summary with key information for that menu page. Click it to open the complete help page as before. The function is rolled out on key pages.

Improvements to the Calendar
- A * icon next to a price shows that a minimum stay is set in the daily price rule for this daily price.
- Hover texts on the daily prices in the Calendar show minimum stays, maximum stays and prices for different occupancies.
- Group bookings are marked with a circle icon. For the master booking, the circle is filled.

In the booking, API Message is renamed to Channel Info.

Booking.com onboarding flow
Properties can activate the Booking.com connection themselves when they are ready. Beds24 no longer activates properties for Booking.com automatically.

Renamed and moved settings
The Booking.com Room Name is renamed to Room Type Name and moved to Settings > Channel Manager > Booking.com > Content > Specific Room Content.
Menu changes
All content-related menu pages from Settings > Channel Manager > Booking.com > Sync Content are now submenus of Settings > Channel Manager > Booking.com > Content.

- Daily Price Setup is renamed to Daily Price Rules.
- Rates are renamed to Fixed Prices.
Why: many new Beds24 customers confused what Beds24 called rates with channel rate plans. The terms Daily Prices for dynamic prices and Fixed Prices for prices with a start and end date avoid this.
