Collect the information you need from guests with booking questions in Settings > Properties > Booking Questions. Use the predefined standard questions, or define your own custom questions.

Question options
Each question has these options:

| Not used | The field doesn't appear on your booking page. |
| Compulsory | A manual booking or a booking on the booking page can't be completed without this information. |
| Compulsory Booking Page | Guests can't continue the booking on the booking page without this information. |
| Optional | The field shows on your booking page and the guest decides whether to fill it in. |
| Internal | The field doesn't appear on your booking page but is available in the control panel to collect and store internal information about each booking. |
Standard questions
Standard questions are predefined to collect commonly used information. Options with Guest can edit will be available in the Guest Login soon.
Custom questions
Define custom questions to ask for specific information, for example the age of children or allergies. Choose the Type of input field:

Warning: If you've enabled additional languages, enter the custom question in all selected languages.
- Reports: in Reports > Custom Reports, you can create a report with the answers to custom questions. See Custom Reports.
- Dashboard: the components Arrivals, Departures, Current Guests, Modified Bookings and Latest Bookings can show CQ editable custom question columns. They show the activated questions, and you can edit the answers there.
Question order
Change the order in which the fields appear on your booking page by dragging and dropping or with the arrows.
Examples for custom questions
Agreement to terms and conditions
If you make a Tick Box question compulsory, the booking can't continue until the guest ticks the box:
I agree to the terms and conditions [yes][no]
With HTML formatting, you can also embed a link to your terms and conditions:
I read the <a href="http://my_terms.com">Terms and Conditions</a> and agree to them [yes][no]
List of arrival or departure times
Control the format of arrival and departure times with a custom question of Type = Multiple Select, for example:

Expected result: The guest picks a time from a drop-down list, which leaves no room for formatting errors or inconsistencies.
