Collect deposits in Bitcoin with Bitpay. Beds24 sends the deposit amount in your local currency to Bitpay, Bitpay converts it to Bitcoin and asks the guest to pay, and the Bitcoin arrives in your Bitpay account. Bitpay can convert the Bitcoin into your local currency instantly, so you aren't exposed to changes in the Bitcoin value.
Quick Guide
- Create a standard POS facade token in your Bitpay dashboard.
- Paste it into the Token field in Settings > Payments > Payment Gateways > Bitpay.
- Optional: set a Title and Instruction.
- Change Enable / Priority and click Save.
Step 1: Create a token
Log in to your Bitpay account and generate a standard POS facade token from the Bitpay dashboard. Make sure Require Authentication is disabled.
Step 2: Enter the token in Beds24
Go to Settings > Payments > Payment Gateways > Bitpay and paste the token into the Token field.
Step 3: Set a title and instruction (optional)
- Title: your own title for this payment option.
- Instruction: a description shown next to the Pay Now button.
Step 4: Activate the connection
Change the setting for Enable / Priority to enable it, then click Save.
Note: If you offer more than one payment option, the Enable number sets the order the options show on your booking page. With only one payment option, any number activates it.
