Agoda.com

Connect Agoda or Agoda Homes to Beds24 to send your availability and several rates per room to Agoda and import its bookings and cancellations automatically. The same connection works for both. Need an Agoda Homes account? Request one from Agoda Homes.

Quick Guide

1. Request the Beds24 connection in your Agoda extranet (Agoda Homes: email Agoda).
2. In Settings > Channel Manager > Agoda, enter your Agoda hotel ID and currency.
3. Map your rooms and rates with Get Code.
4. Check View Actual Data, tick Inventory, Prices and Bookings, and save.

Capabilities and limitations

• Beds24 exports inventory and multiple rates.
• Beds24 imports bookings, modifications and cancellations. You can turn off importing cancellations for individual bookings.
• Agoda supports per occupancy pricing.
• Beds24 imports only bookings made after you connect. Enter existing bookings manually to block the dates, see Existing bookings.
• Upsell items can't be exported.

Before you connect

Beds24 only sends availability when you have prices that are active for Agoda. See Setting Prices for Booking Channels.

Price type	What Beds24 sends
Fixed prices	1 person, 2 person and room price. The room price is sent for the occupancy you specify. Several prices with different occupancies can go on the same rate plan. Extra person and extra child prices, and discounts on the Discounts tab, can't be sent.
Daily prices	The daily price including occupancy. Several occupancy prices can go on each rate plan. The extra person price is sent.

• Beds24 sends a single (1 guest), double (2 guests) and room price; the room price applies to the maximum occupancy. You can also set an Extra Bed price if the option is active in Agoda.
• For dorms, Agoda expects a single price only, not a double or room price.
• Agoda supports several prices per room, for example for different minimum stays, meal options, or refundable and non-refundable rates, and can calculate child rates. See Multiple rates at Agoda.
• If you sell rooms individually elsewhere but as a room type with a quantity above one on Agoda, set up virtual rooms.
• If you have one hotel ID elsewhere (for example on Booking.com or Expedia) but a separate Agoda Homes hotel ID for each room, see Combine individual properties into one property with multiple rooms.

Connect Agoda

You need: your Agoda hotel ID. It's near the top right of the screen in Agoda.

Step 1: Request the connection in Agoda

• Agoda: request a connection with Beds24 in your Agoda extranet. If there's no menu for it, ask your Agoda representative.
• Agoda Homes: send a connection request to BD-Connectivity@agoda.com via the Support Widget in the extranet, asking to set Beds24 as your channel manager.

Step 2: Enter your hotel ID in Beds24

1. Go to Settings > Channel Manager > Agoda and enter your Agoda hotel ID. For Agoda Homes with several rooms in the property, set Set Hotel ID per = Room.
2. Set the currency. If you use a different currency on Agoda than in Beds24, use the price multiplier.

Step 3: Map your rooms

1. Select your price model: Per Day Pricing or Per Occupancy Pricing.
2. Click Get Code next to the room type ID setting.
3. Click the Agoda room ID you want to map to the Beds24 room.
4. When the room ID is copied into the room type ID setting, click Save.

Step 4: Map your rates

1. Click Get Code next to the rate plan ID setting.
2. Click the Agoda standard rate for this room. Check that the rate plan ID is copied into the setting.
3. Choose the price strategy your Agoda account uses.
4. Optional: set an Extra Bed price if the option is active in Agoda.
5. Click Save.

Note: Agoda doesn't allow extra beds for single-unit Agoda Homes. For Agoda Homes, set the extra bed price to 0.

Step 5: Activate the connection

1. Click View Actual Data to check the availability and prices Beds24 will send.
2. Tick Inventory, Prices and Bookings.
3. Click Save.

Expected result: Beds24 sends your availability and prices to Agoda and imports new bookings, modifications and cancellations. The connection works if you receive no error messages and Agoda shows the right availability and prices.

Note: Beds24 overwrites prices already set in Agoda but can't remove them. If Beds24 sends no prices, it sends no availability, and Agoda shows its original data.

If you receive error messages, fix them immediately: Agoda rejects all updates while there is an error. See Troubleshooting. Changes to settings go with the next update, see Updates and changes.

Price multiplier

To mark your prices up or down, or convert the currency, enter a multiplier in the Multiplier field, for example *1.23. See Price multiplier for all options.

Tip: To limit the number of bookings Agoda can accept, use Channel Inventory.

Multiple rates at Agoda

Agoda supports several prices per room, for example for different minimum stays, meal options, or refundable and non-refundable rates. You have two options:

• Derived (child) rates: Beds24 sends one master rate and Agoda calculates the other rates from it. Ask your Agoda representative to set this up.
• Multiple rate plan IDs: Agoda sets up several rate plan IDs per room, each with its own booking conditions, and you map a different Beds24 rate or offer to each one. See Setting Prices for Booking Channels. If you don't have the rate IDs you need, ask Agoda to add them.

Manage Agoda bookings

• Virtual cards: set Auto Process Virtual Cards = Yes to charge virtual cards automatically on the date they become valid. This needs Stripe: without Stripe, Beds24 creates a pending payment that can't be collected. If you charge virtual cards manually, you can only charge them on the check-out date.
• Channel collect payments: shown on the booking invoice if Import Channel Collect Payments = Yes in Settings > Channel Manager.
• Different invoice template: use Invoicees for bookings from Agoda.

Troubleshooting

Beds24 emails you any error Agoda returns during an update.

Error	Likely cause	Resolution
API key is not authorised for Property id:xxxxx	Wrong hotel ID, or Agoda hasn't connected you to Beds24	Check your Agoda hotel ID. If it's right, ask Agoda to check that you're connected to the Beds24 channel manager.
Authentication failed. Invalid authentication / Invalid Property id or User not have permission to access Hotel.	Wrong codes, or no Beds24 connection at Agoda	Check your codes. If they're right, ask Agoda to check that you're connected to the Beds24 channel manager.
Property id: 00000 has not been migrated yet	Your Agoda profile isn't finished	Complete the profile creation and self-activation in the Agoda extranet before you map your rooms and rates.
Available allotment (x) cannot greater than number of rooms (x)	Beds24 sends a higher quantity than you have listed on Agoda	Match the room quantity in Beds24 and Agoda.
Invalid room type please check your room type ID	Wrong room type ID, or the connection isn't enabled	Check your room type IDs and that the connection is enabled.
Room: 00000000 does not exist for Property id: 00000	The room code isn't a valid Agoda room code	Only use room codes that Get Code shows.
Rate plan: 0 does not exist for Property id: 00000	An invalid Agoda rate ID is entered on the Channels tab of a fixed price or in the Enable list of a daily price	Select a valid code from the Get Code list: at the rate ID in the Agoda settings, in Prices > Channel Mapping (search for the rate ID and open the daily price or rate), on the Channels tab of your rates, and in the enable list of your daily prices.
Rate: for ratePlanId: 123456 which is out of stay start/end period has not been set	The rate has a start or end date in Agoda, and Beds24 sends prices outside it	Adjust your prices in Beds24 or the rate dates in Agoda.
Requested currency: XXX does not match with Property currency: YYY	Different currencies in Beds24 and the Agoda settings	Match Settings > Properties > Description > Currency Code with Currency in Settings > Channel Manager > Agoda.
Please set extrabed rate	Agoda expects an extra bed price	Set the extra bed price in your Agoda account.
Max extrabed has not been set. You cannot set the extrabed rate	You have no extra bed option in Agoda	Remove the extra bed price in Beds24, or change your setup in Agoda.
Cannot set Double rate because max occupancy is 1 Cannot set double rate when maximum occupancy less than 2	Agoda has the room for single occupancy only, and Beds24 sends a double price	Remove the double price, or ask Agoda to raise the occupancy.
Cannot set full rate when maximum occupancy less than 3	Agoda has the room for double occupancy, and Beds24 sends a room price for more guests	Set a double price in Beds24 and remove the room prices, or ask Agoda to raise the occupancy.
Cannot set full rate because max occupancy is 2	Agoda has the room for 2 guests, and Beds24 sends a room price for more	Set the maximum guests to 2 in Beds24, or ask Agoda to raise it to the Beds24 value.
Cannot set Occupancy X rate because Max occupancy is Y	Agoda has the room for Y guests, and Beds24 sends a room price for more	Reduce the occupancy in Beds24, or ask Agoda to raise it.
Please set full occupancy rate.	Agoda expects a price for 3 or more guests (a full occupancy rate). Often the room is set for 2 guests in Beds24 but more in Agoda.	Match the room occupancy in both systems, or add a price for the full occupancy.
Price provided not sufficient for Max occupancy = X, rate missing: Full rate	Agoda expects a price for up to X guests. Often the occupancy is higher in Agoda than in Beds24.	Add a price for the full occupancy, or match the occupancy in both systems.
Full Rate should be greater than Double Rate	The full rate is lower than the double rate, in the prices Beds24 sends or those already in Agoda. Often the room is a double in Beds24 but for 3 or more guests in Agoda.	Match the room occupancy in both systems. If that's not the cause, check the prices in Agoda.
Default rate: xxxx should be between xx and xxxx	Agoda has a price range for the rate	Correct the prices in Beds24, or remove the restriction in Agoda.
Rate x00.00 cannot less than Minimum Rate xxx.00.	Agoda has a minimum price for the rate	Raise the price in Beds24 to at least the limit, or ask Agoda to lower it.
Rate x00.00 should be between xxx.00.	Agoda has a price limit for the rate	Change the price in Beds24 to fit the range, or ask Agoda to change or remove the limit.

Disconnect Agoda

• Untick Inventory, Prices and Bookings to stop the synchronisation for a room.
• To disconnect the channel manager completely, you may need to ask Agoda to disconnect you.
